BIG COMEDY WEEKEND - TICKETS ON SALE + EXTRA ACT ANNOUNCED!!

OK comedy fans, it's time to get really excited because the tickets for our Big Comedy Weekend in July are now on sale via WeGotTickets! That means that in just a few clicks you can get tickets for the ten fantastic one-hour shows we announced last month, for the ridiculously reasonable price of between £3 and £5 each (plus 30-50p booking fee).

Jen Brister joins us at the Criterion on Sunday 13th July

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - the exciting news doesn't stop there either, because in attempt to squeeze as much awesomeness out of the weekend as possible, we're delighted to announce we've added an EXTRA SHOW, and it's a cracker! We will be joined on the Sunday by the wonderful JEN BRISTER, who will be previewing her latest Edinburgh show 'Wishful Thinking', which was nominated for Best New Show at Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival (DLCF) a couple of months ago. This now means that over one weekend, we have 5 DLCF award nominees and 3 DLCF award winners in one weekend!! Not that we're boasting or anything, but all 11 acts are bloomin' awesome and we're incredibly chuffed to have such a quality line-up for our very first weekend, so get your tickets now before they disappear forever!

The full line-up is as follows:

FRIDAY 11th JULY
7:00pm - Richard Peel presents 'Goblintime'
8:15pm - Simon Munnery sings Soren Kierkegaard
9:45pm - Andrew O'Neill - Mindspiders

SATURDAY 12th JULY
6:30pm - Leanne Mckie - This Peggy Twatface is Toast
8:00pm - George Ryegold - Iron Face in a Velvet Beard
9:30pm - Ian Hall - An Hour of Ian

SUNDAY 13th JULY
3:00pm - Bruce Edhouse presents 'Crabula!'
4:30pm - Jen Brister - Wishful Thinking
6:00pm - Scott Bennett - About a Roy
7:30pm - Chris Stokes - Self-loathing Love Letter
9:00pm - Kristian D Kirklan presents 'Big Society'

So there we have it - it's going to be an amazing weekend, so get your tickets now because they WILL SELL OUT (don't say we didn't warn you!) And because we're dead nice like, here's the link for tickets again in case you can't be bothered to scroll back up to the top of the page: http://www.wegottickets.com/f/7685

Cheers,
Paul and the Big Comedy Weekend Team.
